Tonepad DS1-more volume??

Hi all!! Not really a debugging post..
I've built a ds1 from tonepad, no substitution, no changes and i'm satisfied with the sound...but when engaged i have a volume drop from clean to the processed signal..
The circuit seems ok..voltages ecc..so I don't know what to debug

Anyone experienced something like this?
Maybe an output booster will solve my problem?
