All,

In an effort to save space on my build of the Tube Reamer, I would like to substitute small polarized caps for the larger green caps.

Can anyone tell me what the orientation should be of the polarized caps?

Thanks in advance.

They need to be oriented so that they are never *reverse polarized, which means knowing when a caps position in the circuit swings + and -, in such cases use a BP cap.
Otherwise the most negative node of the circuit where the cap goes is where you'd put the - side of the cap, usually 'toward' or at Gnd. the positive side of the cap would be 'farther' from Gnd. maybe toward or at V+.
Take a look at a FF's polarized input cap, note orientation *And PS polarity, for Neg. Gnd. ..it's different than for Pos Gnd.
