You can do that by adding a bypass board, there's a couple of those available (Clickless Bypass or Orman's bypass board).

ok enough of guessing...

im know im going to get roasted big time on this, but here goes, so roast away...

a wah or any pot control using the 3dpt itself...without any treadle.

benefits include, small enclosure, no large treadle, can be applied to any pedal....

could be used to control anything you like....modulation,delay,feedback,fuzz,speed rate,etc....
all in a small enclosure...using the unused slack in the 3dpt shaft.....around 7mm..5mm when clicked down..
now i know this is not a lot, but it is enough to push an ldr into an led, and therefore control anything you fancy.
because it is foot controlled it would be too easy to keep turning on/off by accident..so
i would have a hi tension spring/device to make it harder to press etc...
