I'm planing on building a neovibe soon, i'm gonna order the parts of Smallbear and wanted to know what enclosure you guys suggest that they sell. Thanks.

Which board? What's the size of it?

I have a Forum Vibe build I'm going to do in a 1790NS. I think that the Neovibe 'could' be built in a 1590BB, but a 1790NS would give you lots more room. I think it also depends on your layout and features - do you want a knob to control with your foot for speed, or would you like to include a Battery inside? Need some more details I think.

I built the board from general guitar gadgets and put it in this enclosure:: http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=48

It's a tight fit but it works. I don't like big boxes with empty spaces inside ;D

I went with this enclosure using the latest GGG board. It seemed to be a nice fit. Much smaller would have been rather tight. Remember you'll need a bit more depth for the dual pot.

I would like to have the seed knob on the bottom right corner so i can use my foot to adjust it. I don't mind having extra room in the enclosure. I was thinking this one. What do you guys think Http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=52

It seems a little to big but hey that's not necessarily a bad thing. You think i should go with that one?

I built mine with the Tonepad board and used a 1790 (I think) or whatever enclosure the new XO EHX pedals are (Ring Thing, etc.).  I would recommend using something deep to accomodate the light bulb and cover assembly.  I didn't mind the space inside and outside of the box because I wanted there to be enough room for large knobs that I can easily manipulate with my feet.  Good luck!

Your right about it being deep. I kept lookin on smallbear and found this one Http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=51  its the same as the BB witch is 4.7" x 3.7" x 1.18" but 2 inches tall.

I used the 1790NS from smallbear.

it was just deep enough for the pcb (on stand-offs) and the 1000uf xicon electros I also got from smallbear.
I made sure the film cannister/bulb enclosure didn't go higher than the electros.
I put the pcb in lengthways with room for pots/switches either side.

I was also looking at that one. I'm going to make the light shield from copper. Do you think it will still fit in that enclosure?
