Mi audio crunch box layout?

hi, and where can i find dimebuggs layout?
did anyone try the layout posted here? does it work,?
is it okay, that D1, D2, C10 and C11 are nowhere connected to ground?
i´m just asking, becouse on every other layout they are...

Do you guys really like this pedal? A ROSS or distortion+ is easier to build and you can put a tone control on the end too.

Aron, you get me "loose my heart" with that!   

I've build one and I'm really happy with that, (I can even say I've found "that kind of sound..." I was looking for)

I was not so happy when I built the D+, sent it quite soon to the "recycle bin", I've never thought they could be/sound the "same"..  isn't the LM833 making the difference?

Can you tell us more about that ?

Maybe but you can put an LM833 into an MXR distortion or ROSS too. It's a basic diode clipper but with LEDs to ground. The one I worked on was so buzzy to me.

SOme guy named Martin emailed me and asked if the layout on page 1 would work.

Well, the junction of D1, D2, C10, C11 misses GROUND connection!. Connect them and it should work fine. Also I would recommend an additional 0.1uF ceramic capacitor between pins 4 & 8 of the opamp.

i get good result with clear type 3mm LED... and/or a pair 1N4148 in series.. (slightly lower vol)...

Hi guys!
I built the crunch box posted in this thread, the circuit works and sounds fine, but i have 2 problems:
-the volume pot affects the guitar volume, even when the effect is bypassed
-theres something like a gate effect, long notes die all of a sudden.

can you help me please?

layout on page 1 seriously got a lot of mistakes.. even the switching is not good enough.. thats why u guys got the problem mentioned...
