So I am getting a bypassed signal and no effect signal :S

When switched on I get click/pop from the LFO at the rate, of the LFO, so no co-incidence there, I read somewhere about this problem.

I always hear a oscillation at certain points of altering the trimpot, very faint, more like tuning an old radio.  I got the LED to light up and respond to all the pots that it responds to, speed, spacing, shape....the only problem no guitar signal getting through nevermind being effected!

So the problem must lie within the signal path?  I have changed the trimpot around altered the screw in it multiple times, checked all soldering, fixed any obvious errors like wrong pins on the jack connectors/dpdt switch.

To no avail, not getting the wet signal at all and as far as I can see I have stayed very accurate to the schematic and layouts.  Offboard too.

I used the VTL5c2 and a 10k trimpot, could this be the problem?  BTW its the TONEPAD layout and the stock components/values

I think that's what happened to me when I put mine together. I had forgotten to bridge the jumpers (SYM/FINE). Once the jumpers were in, I had sound.

The trimpot sets the gain of the final stage (aka- output) so, even if the value isn't right, you should still be getting some output.  Although at 10k, it might be less than you want maxed out.

 Lfo seems to be cycling and responding to controls.
So the problem must lie within the signal path?  
 Try audio probing down this sort of long path with many possible stop-points.
 Voltage readings are another way to tell what is or isn't possible.

 Set the speed real slow, measureing R of LDR to see if it shows a rising/falling resistance.
 BTW its the TONEPAD layout and the stock components/values.
  I've brutally beaten circuits into submission with the undefeatable debugging team: Trained DMM-er w/audio probe.

I'm sorry but someone will have to elaborate this, I don't think I am familiar with the term exactly.

  Sounds like an overlooked PCB wiring assignment option...has to be wired one way or the other, whether fixed values or through switch?..for it to work.
