Help with GGG ITS8 Screamer Clone

Hi Guys,

I'm having some trouble with my first build and I need help. First off, my pedal makes a bad static/Crackling sounds when turned on. The noise disappears when I switch the pedal off. I also noticed that the drive pot works well up to half way then shuts the volume when I crank it full?

Also, are the onboard LED's supposed to light up when you activate them via the toggle switch for clipping?

Yes the LED's light up when you activate them with the switch. What mods did you do to the pedal? And if you can, try posting a picture of the pedal.
