Anyone have a template or advice on your to build a bypass box with LED and DC jack into a 1090 sized enclosure?  "Shoehorning" is not my specialty.

use an led bezel. build the led on the board. make enough space at the bottom of the pedal for a 9v battery. Put the stomp switch above where the battery should go. Put the DC jack next to the output jack (above or below). Keep the circuit small! (a booster or distortion or other similar breed.) Also use the smaller pots from pedal parts plus or mammoth. they save alot of space.

Lol, thomas... http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=49

Battery takes up about half the box... this is the New Sensor 1590A clone.

All his other points were totally valid, though. Small pots... maybe even PCB mounted. Check the pictures section... there's a thread with just 1590A's that should give you a ton if ideas.

Best idea, open frame jacks. (ok, maybe not the best idea, but saves space if you're careful)

OH! THOSE TINY LITTLE THINGS. HAHA. YEAH HARD TO GET A BATTERY IN THERE! GOODLUCK! IS THERE A DIFFERENT SIZE 9V OUT THERE? :P

No pots needed for a TB loop.  I just use 4 jacks, stomp switch, dc jack and LED.  I might opt for the external dc jack to maximize space for the jacks. I am using open jacks but did not have luck fitting them in the first try (must have measured once, drilled once I guess :icon_lol:)

You can use a small stack of 3v lithium batteries.  Takes up about as much room as half a AA battery.
