Discrete (diode compression) Op-amp as a plug-in module on Vero

 Here's a little something I cooked up...

It's Joe Davisson's great little diode compression Op-amp from the front page of the forum. My idea was to attempt to shrink this down to a "module size" so it can be plugged in and out where any suitable single op-amp may be.

Here's a slightly crappy photo of mine - it was a little hard to capture- I think my camera couldn't see something so tiny with it's focus range finder.

A few notes if you do build this.
Firstly it would probably be easier on perf but Vero is what I have, so that's what I used.
There is a track cut between two holes - you'll have to get precise with a hobby knife etc
Q1 and Q2 are connected via Q2's emitter above, not through the board.
The component leads marked in light blue should be left long and then trimmed to fit a socket or pins as I used.
Adjust the trimmer for ~ 4,5v on Q3's collector in circuit.

I plan to pretty much smother this in resin to make it more sturdy

Note:
If you want to test this out in a circuit where space is tight, you can stack more 8 pin sockets to give it more reach.
