Visual Sound "Son of Hyde" Mods?

I bought the Visual Sound "Son of Hyde" pedal.Needed something that sounded heavy until i can get all the rest of the parts for my "Boogey 57" (guitarpcb.com's take on the dr. boogie)build.I thought about starting with the clipping section.Looks like two,2N4148's.The pedal needs a lot more midrange.Anyone have any ideas?I couldn't find a schematic online anywhere. :icon_frown:Any help would be greatly appreciated!
