Hot Melt adhesive backed oak veneer strips.
Had the LED pinned down quicker than removing the tip of my iron.
Has seen numerous light structural applications, is very easy to work with.
Back to subject, thanks to the Guys at Runoff Groove for offering the Tube Reamer.
It ended up kicking the old 'in need again' Tonebender out, seems the box, TB board, TR and I will all be much happier this way.
Pondering which 'medium' gain circuit to insert, I remembered how bummed I was when the other TR service ended after a fire.
I chose gain switch for 330k, 660k and 76k4 across feedback loop.
I don't use the lower gain and TR pre-boosts nice with DOD280, or boosts DIST+ thing.
Meanwhile the resurrection of my Neutron [don't ask how cyanoacrilic locked the Lp, HP, BP switch ughhh, this switch RS is better fit and easier to turn], thanks to RG for suggesting this build.
  ..and the D+ [I counted 2 cold solders ! !].
The old pedalboard again is the new pedalboard, hurray, my old Analog chorus/delay showed up again and cleaned up nicely [the spray goes right in the many small switches, via front panel, interior switch spraying did nothing years ago].
They all seem quite interactive and happy once again. This state of pedalboard happiness has been absent for some time.
...the Spyder power supply that got baked...turns out is about 1/2 baked...'you were right, the way to do this is to test the secondaries and redo at least the capacitors.
hope you liked the update, things are moving along and it's getting there.
These are excellent pedals, I'm so glad I was able to build them.

funny ...  I had a tonebender MKII-ish design that was a staple on my board (had been through 2 boards actually) that I started hearing imperfections in. I pulled it apart, touched up some solder, tweaked the trims I had on it, still could hear what I'll call "artifacts." So i bread-boarded another and damn ... i think the problem was the design. I could still hear this fizzyness when notes decayed. A fizziness that I DID NOT hear when I first built it (psychoacoustic issues I'm certain of)

So i said screw it an designed something else with an opamp ... based on that Sonic-Tonic idea actually, and now that's inside the TB housing on my board. I've conditioned myself to not hear anything bad about this new design. :)

I just saw a great quote somewhere too which made me think of our hobby.
