I was reading this article in an italian guitar portal and just wanted to share it with you, I guess the owner won't mind, as he shared the schem! Here it is then!!!

And the video...It seems it quite screams!!! Nice! And he described how it was made after a lucky visit at a dumpster!!!

Adriano, does the article say anything about the difference between the selenium rectifier and the 1N4007? I suppose the selenium is in reality 4 diodes (a selenium diode bridge: in the video you can see it sitting in the old chassis, marked 250V/50mA - same as in the schematic. The visible connections to it are marked + and -; the two other connections that should be there - both for AC from the powertransformer- can't be seen), but this does not show on the schematic...
Also, there are 2 switches next to the On/off switch; one of them is labelled "filter"' the other one has no label. On the schematic I see only one switch (for the selection of the rectifier) - does the article tell you something about the other one?

I'll try to translate some bits for ya!

Once the wiring was done I made a couple of mods to give more "air" when the gain pot is at low levels (the left switch slightly boosts the bass while the right one is MidBoost/flat/Bright, which just filters some frequencies to go directly beyond the gain pot) - we thought a tone control wasn't needed, not just for the tiny workspace.

As for the diodes, he wrote they tried Si but found selenium better.

Hope that helps!

That amp sounds KILLER ,except for that wierd intermitent buzzing at high gain (sounds like snare strainer rattle sort of)
But yeah nice clean ,chimey sounds, and really good gain.
I'm no EE or even a tech, just a monkey with a soldering iron that can read, and follow instructions. ;D
