Danelctro Cool Cat Vibe Hiss issue

I just got the  Danelectro Cool Cat Vibe new 2 days ago and I'm aware of the obvious  issues of the delay of the pedal turning on and the volume boost.One thing I noticed is it also produces hiss as well which no one seems to ever mention.I can really hear this with distortion as My setup is cool cat vibe before fender amp with built in gain.The second the pedal is on I can hear the hiss.I don't know if this is at all related to the volume boost,If so I plan on modding this pedal sooner or later,Although It is not noticeable while clean.But most people claim from what I've read say it is a non noisy pedal.Anyone notice any hiss from this pedal at all???
