I was wondering if there was any sort of simple way to make a pedal that had a momentary switch of some sort that when pushed would oscillate from no sound to full sound. Just a killswitch that goes on and off repeatedly?

Any help is greatly appreciated, I wish I knew more so I could figure it out myself.

Thanks guys-

just wire up a box with ins and outs and use a momentary dpdt or 3pdt to create the kill switch. look up any wiring diagram for hooking up a footswitch and leave the poles for the effect circuits in and out unattached.

this a pretty common diagram. see if you get what i mean by looking at this. Dont know how well i explained it, it sounds good in my head  :D

So... Some Kind of 'Burst' Box.

I'm sorry, I had to get there first :icon_lol:

Your idea... could you explain it again do you think, what's oscillating about it.

I think what you want is something like this: http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=87322.0
with a momentary DPDT. You could use any tremolo that does square wave, but that one is cool cause it's tiny.
Big Muff, Trotsky Drive, Little Angel, Valvecaster, Whisker Biscuit, Smash Drive, Green Ringer, Fuzz Face, Rangemaster, LPB1, Bazz Fuss/Buzz Box, Radioshack Fuzz, Blue Box, Fuzzrite, Tonepad Wah, EH Pulsar, NPN Tonebender, Torn's Peaker...

Oscillating from a cut signal (or just no sound at all) to the regular signal rapidly with me just holding down the footswitch.

So...
I press and hold footswitch down-->What I'm playing goes back and forth from regular volume to no volume very fast-->I release footswitch and it goes back to regular volume as if bypassed.

There's also the stutter effect at Geofex, but having recently redesigned the Vox Repeat Percussion, I like it better.

I got all the ticking and noise out of it.  :icon_biggrin:
