Flabby colorsound overdriver?

I've had my colorsound clone OD clone for quite some time and all of the sudden is seems very flabby on the bass notes at high gain.

the tone stack works perfectly, and i just put in brand new bc109s from smallbear....this is definitely a new problem, which is very strange.

Any ideas would be great!! Thanks! It sounds especially bad with the neck pup (fat 50s)
