hey guys.. as some of you might now i built the Crunch'd Box on a schematic and it doesnt work.. i guess i might have fried the 100pf caps :(
is there a way i could test those??

can't really think of what's wrong...
the whole circuit seems to be correct... i get the signal thru.. only... when i plug the 9V adapter the signal is kinda audible.. you can hear the notes but that lasts for a second only.. then it dies and sounds like farting.. and only on few notes.. i cant hear the rest.. i guess i might have fried a cap???? C5 probably.. may be C8 as well... is there a way to test those out on a multimeter?

also ive tested the joints, the diode D1and LEDs... i can check the resistors with the resistance test on the multimeter but i doubt i could fry thous... basically i cant test out the IC and the capacitors! anyway to check caps? (both Electrolytic and non-electrolytic)

Hi
electros (esp in power supplies and for filtering) usually hold a voltage difference across them.  You'll see that voltage rise when the power is turned on and fall after the power is turned off.
Smaller signal caps are more difficult to test in-circuit, but many will also have a measurable voltage difference across them where they are being used as DC blockers.
