axis fuzz revisited

Finally a decent schematic. Al the others were drawn so funny.
I always wondered how the axis fuzz worked.
But it looks like some sort of controlled darlington!

That maybe the the case but someone here has claimed it was taken off of the Helios, which I admit was a superb mixing/recording consoles of the late 1960s. I can't say much other than there was some copying somewhere and to this day nobody is exactly sure how many circuits that were coming out, were similar to the Helios, this and so forth.
