for this build, i wired the output straight to the speaker ... as shown in the schematic, the circuit will also drive headphones ...

for a second build, i may add a status LED ... the sound quality of the mini-amp is quite dependent upon what speaker/cab it's driving ... as always, YMMV

Seem an awful lot of work to build (what I see as) a Noisy Cricket with a full tone stack  ???

Great work!

Suggestion: perhaps assymetrical clipping would be interesting in the preamp stage. (symmetrical clipping can be done in the poweramp section)

Does it have the decaying fizzle that is so prevelant with the 386 chips?

Although there already is a PCB layout for the Pocket Rockit (http://hammer.ampage.org/files/PocketRockit.PDF), there are always folks who don't work with PCBs, and other folks who need the layout to conform to a particular physical space.  So kudos for doing the work for those folks.
