ok, so I found the thread and have most of the parts on the way, but then ran across a part that is not on the parts list..... a J201 transistor?!  on the schematic i am assuming it goes in the spot that says GSD, but i just want to confirm.

and for the trimpots, can i just order them off of futurlec?  they are only $0.55 each, but i wanna make sure they are the correct ones.

Yes, the J201 is a JFET transistor, and the GSD on the schematic stands for Gate, Source, and Drain - the three pins on the transistor.  Also, notice on the layout that the J201 is pictured with a flat side.  Make sure you install it with that same orientation.

also, in the LED area, am i supposed to mount LED's to the PCB as well as run wires for the exposed ones?  D2/D3/D6 are all on the pcb.

The holes on the PCB are just for wires to the LEDs.  Mount the LEDs wherever you want on the enclosure (or not at all).  The reason they are shown on the layout is just so know where to connect them.
