I bought a Boss Dual Overdrive SD-2 on ebay.I'm actually suprised how good it sounds.Too bad they don't make them anymore.I'm trying to convert it to use a psa adapter.I know on the older Boss Super Overdrive's you just jumper the resistor and diode right above the wires from the pcb.Anyone know how to do it for the Dual Over?

  Same as any other:
What does the effect expect for power, produce a suitable supply.
Battery or floating 9vdc, regulated/filtered suggested.
Almost safe to assume there are no shorts in the Boss box, so polarity is the main issue.
Plug it in via the battery clip for no-confusion connection, or figure out the PS jack polarity/connectivity and use that.
For use of any adapters, check the spec-print on the unit, a data sheet or owners manual for each adapter.
DC of suitable voltage and polarity with sufficient current supply rating should 'work'.
  General application preps can include:
Verification of NPN Neg. Gnd. effect.
Connection between the jacksleeve and some grounded board component like OA pin 4 or other to determine that the - goes to the - sides of 'things.
Verification in addition to the above using DMM:
Beep mode: to trace the + and then the -  into the effect, to insure no +/- shorting.
Voltage mode: to meausure the voltage potential and polarity of DC.
Make sure then double check that everything matches.
Triple check by inserting input plug, DC adapter jack [with adapter on a switch], switch the power on, hit the bypass, if the LED doesn't light/turn the power off right away.
Either it works, works with low noise, or requires debugging.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

ayayay!

I'm not seeing the typical Resistor/Diode on the schematic I'm looking at, so you're probably fine already.   :-\
