Looking for a soft touch DPDT switch, or install electronic switching?

Working on a project that involves modifying pedals for hand operation. Anyone know of a DPDT pushbutton switch thats real easy to "stomp" with a finger?

OR

Should I just install electronic switching and a buffer? I'll have to find a schematic for that, and I'd rather not spend the time adding another circuit, but if it's simple enough to do it might be worth it.
