hey guys, so yeah im opening up threads almost everyday and asking about other's builds as well a lot . well first of all i am learning and looking up a lot of schematics is the best way to do so, second of all, i do breadboard some of the stuff that i can find the parts for so it's all about learning and having fun! :D

so today i actually thought I do need some sort of modulation cause my cleans aren't anything super awesome so is there a relatively easy build for modulation such as chorus or detune or flanger. (not exactly those effects but you get what sort of sound i am looking for :) )
bring up your ideas :D

cheers V

Modulation is usually not very simple but here are some suggestions. I might edit this as I think up of more.

Easy modulation:
Simple tremolos (EA trem, Kay, Simplified Tremulus etc.)
Wobbletron

Medium:
Simple phasers (Phase 45 etc.)
Little Angel
Tremulus Lune
Other tremolos

Advanced:
Pretty much everything else.

so the only chorus is Little angel?  i mean as Simple or intermediate

I looked up the EA tremolo on tonepad and that thing looks pretty simple, is it worth trying??

Zombie Chorus counts as an intermediate project, I guess.
Some people encounter ticking problems with it. It occurs only very rarely on my build though. There are also some fixes to make it better.

It's hard to get anything more interesting out of a basic good clean sound if you don't like it already.  I'm getting the impression that you don't like the sound you're getting?  The Phase 45 is highly under-rated.  Doesn't do much as an "effect" but does really cool subtle stuff.  EA tremolo is great but can be a bit of a one-trick and your average listener gets tired of tremolo long before we effects freaks do.  Repetition is repetition.

Perhaps a little compression or EQ?  I've never hit a decent clean sound before I started using a Lab Series L5 (old Gibson/Norlin/Moog amp from the 70's) and that blew it wide open.  I dial in a little compression from the amp and set the preamp dead clean and crank the master.  You could probably reproduce that with a booster and compressor with your amp set clean.

ah well i am pretty happy with my clean cause it's straight clean :)  I am just thinking of something to make it a bit more interesting. I've got compression and EQ actually but i do want a little bit of Chorus or Flanger. just to make it a bit interesting. i'll lookup the Phase 45. it's in a hammond 1950a if im not mistaken (did i say the numbers correctly?? :P ) so it'll fit in my enclosure as well :)
