NPN Fuzz Face with positive ground?

If there are some instances in which a PNP-based, positive ground powered Fuzz Face will oscillate when its normally "positive ground" power supply is converted to "negative ground", is the converse also true? 

In other words, can you take a perfectly functional, NPN-based Fuzz Face with a normal "negative ground" power supply, and convert it to a "positive ground" supply and cause it to motorboat or otherwise misbehave?
