I strum really hard. I tried replacing some input and output resistors, and bias resistors. Maybe I just have not stepped down the right one? What would you try?

what am i looking for at the B E  and C? Should I be measuring AC or DC?

Derringer

measure for DC

post your readings like this:

Q1
C =
B =
E =

Q2
C=
B=
E=

once we see what your voltages are, then we can start making recommendations

it's a cool circuit man, you'll be happy when it fires up!
