Is there a place around here to discuss guitar amp modification and repair?

I have a Fender Power Chorus 212 that needs repair.  I'd like to do it myself but I couldn't really find any good resources on the web.  I have been building my own stompboxes so I know I can do it.  Any info would be appreciated.

Im in the same boat, Ive posted on every amp forum I can find. My problem is that the internet says my Hilgen HM1 doesnt exist. So, I want to poke around with my multimeter and get some readings, but whos can I compare them to? Theres no schematic for any Hilgens out there. The numbers on my reverb recovery tube are worn off and I cant tell you what it is to replace it.

Anywho, if anyone can help:
My poor Hilgen feeds back after 2.5 on the volume knob. Ive swapped out all of the preamp tubes except for the reverb recovery. Power tubes are new, caps are new, and a tech rewired it ultra-linear a few years back.

Figured Id try...

music-electronics-forum.com is where I learned most of what I know about amps, and is also where this place spawned from.  There are several pro techs that frequent there and walk guys through diagnosis/repairs.  Currently there's an issue with some of the ads on the site bringing up Google virus warnings (or so that's what the members have deduced from their investigations), so I'd wait till that passes to frequent there (unless you know you're safe (Mac, Linux, etc.)

In view of a problem I acquired about a month back, and those continued warnings, I regularly check my machine with both Spybot and TDSSkiller after visits.  Neither of those detect any problems, so I'll assume that MEF is fine, and Firefox is simply twitchy and risk averse.

malware detection with chrome here, maybe twitchy too
