Tonepad Wah/Vol?

Just built the wah/volume pedal from tonepad.  After dialing in the components to my rig, the wah section sounds great.  However I'm having a small problem with the volume feature in that when the pedal is rolled back all the way, I can still hear my signal (faintly).  I'd like to have the range set between full and off as opposed to full and quiet. I tried replacing the grounding resistor with a smaller value but to no avail.  Anyone experience this before?
