EA Tremolo problem

I have built the EA Tremolo with the board from GeneralGuitarGadgets, wired with DC jack but only a 9V battery snap, also it has the "Flashing LED" mod. I get sound when the pedal is not on but when it is on I get hiss with the tremolo effect and no guitar. I'm pretty sure it's not the transistors because they are all in the correct spots in the right position.

Someone help me with this I would like to know why my pedal isn't working or what could be causing the problem.

Ok I rewired it without the flashing pulse led mod, and with a dc jack. And now I am having new problem.

1. The led works and I get a signal when the pedal is on, but the speed and depth knobs do not work and there is no tremolo effect. Only a boost effect from the level knob.

2. Sometimes the tremolo works. If I move the circuit board a certain way or a random wire the tremolo starts working. I'd like to narrow down my options on which possible joint could be causing this problem. Which connections can be responsible for this?

Good attitude. That'll really help in getting someone to take their time to solve your problems.

The biggest thing you can do is to read that stickie notice that you have to scroll past to see any of the other posts - it's titled "Debugging: what to do when it doesn't work."

Or you can just keep demanding that people help you.
