Any idea for an EZ80/12AT7 pre-amp?

I have a transformer that supplies the heater voltage to both the EZ80 rectifier, and the 12AT7, as well as an unknown voltage to the plate of that (single) 12AT7.

I am looking to make this a tube pre-amp (a la Firefly, ValveCaster, etc) for a circuit with which I can start.  I'd eventually like to design my own circuit for this, yet lack that starting place...  The rectifier and tranny have come from an old tube reel-to-reel; the 12at7 from a 1955 Zenith am/fm radio snatched up at an antique shop, out of order, but with a brand spankin new Sylvania...

I would like to make this an open-ended project that will be small and modular.  After experimenting with driving a Frontman 10W with a cheapo, battery-powered, 1W, I love the organic crunchy breakup I can get.  I figured I could do much the same with a few parts I had lying around, but with tubes  ;)

So, I'm planning for it to fit into a small (5 1/16" x 4 1/4" x 1 5/16") (~13x11x3.5cm) box I have liberated from its other duties...  I know it's small, but based on the other projects I've seen on this site, I think it will have PLENTY of (outside and inside) real-estate...

Anybody got any recommendations?

Still a tubey noobie. Been doing this a while, and still can't figure much out, smh.
