First build -- thanks for the inspiration

Hi all!

Just thought I'd post a link to a mini build report I put together for my first pedal. It's a looping box with two loops on it designed very much to meet the need of a particular situation. I wanted to thank everyone on here as it was the 'everything is possible' attitude of this place that gave me the confidence to take on as much as I did (particularly in the area of enclosure production).

Anyway, feedback is appreciated!

Nice job! Looks great...I've been meaning to make a couple loop boxes myself.

id did one just like that in a 4site 125B sideways. and all the jacks were top mount. including the power. why did you put 3 LED's? is that just so you know you have power to the pedal?

Nice work!  These days, I regularly recommend loop selectors as a good first project.  Nice to have something that will remain useful for a long time, that doesn't involve struggling to find the "right" parts, weeks of troubleshooting, or the disappointment of "why doesn't mine sound like the soundclip on Youtube?".

Hi! Yeah, the middle one is just power. Originally, I was just going to have a power LED and a single color LED to signify that it was 'looping' (rather than bypassed) fro each loop, so if both loops were bypassed, no LED would be on (except the power). Once I was at the stage of ordering the parts, I had a wee brain wave and got bi-color LEDS to signify the two states. It wasn't till after I'd built it and played around with it that I realised all three LEDs are always on. But, I figured since the power LED was blue, that would make it sound better anyway and left it in.  ;) ::)
