I want to use this Charge pump on a Rangemaster, but had a couple of questions  :icon_confused:

do I use the ground on the battery clip as the common ground for the rest of the pedal, or do I attach it to the ground on the Pump!?!?

Second, If im using this layout:

do I just attach the -9v from the pump to the switch, and the Ground of the pump/battery to the output ring Ring?

The circuit and the polarity converter share the same ground, its kind of hard to get your head around but ground is ground...

If you use the 7660 make sure it is the 7660S or you will get whine in the signal.

Hey Jay mate,

Ground is ground is ground is ground......regardless of if its +9 or -9 (negative ground is is a bit of a misnomer really)

Also bonus pots for using the -9v from the pump to power the RM and the +9 from the pump to power a indicator light  ;)
