Fixed "boost" on a rangemaster

What adjustment to a Rangemaster circuit do I need to make if I want the boost to be at 100% all the time (which I am told Brian May does with his) ?  I am guessing a fixed resistor...am I correct?  If so -- should I just use a 10K?  If I want to limit the output, then a lower resistor (8.2K, 6.8K, etc.)?
