Hey, think i've gone and made another novice mistake. . .  Bought a DPDT Switch, but now I get the impression I cant wire an LED with it, this true or not? Do I need a 3PDT ?

See 'millenium bypass' articles at GEO.
or use 3pdt [easy if you've got it], or sack TB for the LED [sucks tone].
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Probly just go LED-less, until I buy 3pdt

Many, many people have used the Millenium Bypass with great success.

What if the pedal is always on? And i just wire the switch for the bypass, and powering the led?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

Bypass switching doesn't usually turn power off to the pedal if that's what you have in mind. Doing that causes big audio pops in most cases.

You may want to read the Technology of Bypassing at http://www.geofex.com if you haven't done that yet.

And tell me more about what you had in mind.

Depends on the circuit. If you've got high input impedance you could get away with just switching the output.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

Then there's the Clinton Bypass.

I'm just going for maximum simplicity really
