I've been looking for ways to use up some enclosures that I drilled for projects that failed years ago, so I decided to rehouse a cheap Korg GT4 tuner http://www.korg.co.uk/products/tuners/gt4/tu_gt4.asp

I made a daughter board that includes a TL072 buffer which then feeds the tuner and output, and a LM317L regulator to provide the 3V. The footswitch allows the output to be muted, and is also wired to the GT4 power switch (because the Korg has an auto-off feature that I didn't actually want, but couldn't defeat). Came out quite nicely! The LEDs aren't exactly bright, but it's good enough for £20, and the strobe effect is just too cool  :icon_cool:

I'm not sure I even want to know how you drilled that

My guess would be a clamping device, a drill press, and a hole saw.
I've been considering rehousing my Ibanez tuner. It doesn't have a backlight, but I think I can mod it to use an LED behind it.
I don't think mine is gonna turn out as clean looking as yours though. That's pretty sweet looking!
Give a man Fuzz, and he'll jam for a day... teach a man how to make a Fuzz and he'll never jam again!
