Hi all,

Been looking at possibly building the Oberheim VCF vero in the near future. It's a bipolar 9v effect, and I was wondering if anyone here had put it together using a MAX1044, instead of the 2 batteries. I prefer to run all my pedals off adapters.

Any and all input would be graciously welcome.

Cheers,
Dino

Hey Dino,

the version on Tonepad has the MAXX1044 build into the PCB, and I've built 2 of these, both using that board and it works perfectly.

Thanks man!! Great news. I'll just make a seperate mini-vero for the MAX1044 power supply, and piggyback it into the project then.

+1 on the Tonepad layout.  It was one of those projects that I etched, populated, wired, and *poof* it fired up with no issues whatsoever.  Where's the fun there??? :icon_mrgreen:
