Seeking Polyphonic Octave Algorthm for Analog Devices SHARC Blackfin...

I'm looking for an advanced DSP algorithm to give me both polyphonic -1 and (polyphonic or monophonic) -2 Octaves in a small physical footprint. The sound could be similar to the BOSS OC-3 I suppose but really need the smaller footprint and low power draw so I'm considering the SHARC Blackfin 592. Any advice you have on the hardware and DSP tips are incredibly useful to me. First post
