Lpb1 vs Mini Boost

I'm thinking of starting up a new project tomorrow, the AMZMini Booster on the heels of my successful Lpb1 adventure. Does anyone have experience with both these pedals? Should I expect a big difference between them? In any case, the MB is a slightly more complex circuit and should give me some more experience which I desperately need but I do need a good sounding boost as I'm in a touring band and want to slowly replace my existing pedals with ones I build myself. Any insight here would be greatly appreciated!
