Hello,

I am attempting to make a pedal that will trigger samples using a QWERTY keyboard hack. So I got 15 DPDT switches, and the keyboard part I understand. However, I am wanting to have an LED light up for when each switch is on, hence the DPDT switches. So one side of the switch is for the key press, and the other side is for the LED. I thought I could connect all the switches to 9V/GND buses and each LED would act independently, but I was wrong... If all the switches are on, all the lights light up, but if any one of the switches is off, they all go off. I am hoping someone here will know what I'm missing.

Thanks!

Yup, it was a series/parallel fail... Thanks!
