clean boost instead of blend

So i recently built a compressor with a clean blend control, and was wondering how easy it would be to make it blend in a clean boost signal-like on the voodoo labs sparkle drive.

would it be a case of just putting a boost circuit in front of lug 3 of the blend pot?

that sounds about right... lug 3, or whichever lug you have the clean signal on
