Build Report Uno By ROG

First off I would like to say that the build wasn't quite as challenging as it initially seemed. Beware of substitutions, I tried to replace the 1k5 gate resistors with 1k's out of laziness, it worked fine but the tone was nowhere close to what it should be. After I replaced the 1k's with 1k5's it was there, yes that little bit made all the difference in the world from nice generic distortion to Carlos Santana that quickly. Yes it does do a very very good Black Magic Woman tone, mine even sounds better than the sound sample. The only substitution i can recommend is the 100ka pot for the master volume I would suggest going to a 500k as the 100k seemingly makes no difference in the volume. great lead tone and a ton of different rhythm tones by working the gain knob and the volume on your guitar.  well worth the time and effort with a thank you to ROG for such great designs.

And yes BEWARE of Substitution i tried the Thor ROG and replace the S 390ohms with 360ohms "because i only have those 360" it makes difference i thought it will be great ang higher gain , but it doesnt sound as good as the Demo...
