Problems with inductor

Hay,

I'm building a wah and I have a standard classic dunlop inductor (with 4 legs). Can anyone explain me which of them should I connect together and which leg goes to each side (I use a circuit similar to the basic circuit here: http://www.geofex.com/article_folders/wahpedl/wahped.htm).

only two hook up. doesn't matter which.
if you look on the bottom, you can see the coil wire hooked up to the live legs.
