I'm sorry to write a little bit off the topic here but if you guys cannot help me I don't know who can...

Recently I purchased an old Ibanez FL9 (Black Label). All of the controls seem to respond correctly but the pedal has unacceptable levels of white noise.

This is an mp3 of the sound for the pedal, could you give me your impressions about it?

Sorry about the voice, it was recorded with an unidirectional SM57 pointing to the amp. But basically the important thing to listen is the noise.

I found some stuff about these flangers and they come equipped with three trim pots inside, one for the CLOCK another one for the REGEN and finally one for the BIAS (which is recommended to not be touched). I tried to better the situation adjusting the clock and the regen parameters with no luck. Can the problem be related to the bias parĂ¡meter of the pedal?

The service manual has some procedure for inicial calibration, but I don't have the equipment to do the job. Or maybe the problem is related to some electronic component going bad.

Any help with this would be much appreciated!!!

All the best
