I just built a Noisy Cricket Mark II and I love it!

Now I want to build one that drives two 3'' 8 ohm speakers. Is this possible to do with one amp without volume loss or impedance problems?

Any suggestions would be great!

I could be wrong, but I think solid state amps can drive any speaker combo generally.  Give it a try and see how it sounds.

i don't know the 'why' but i know that it will drive yr cab just fine. once i built mine, i plugged into my 4x12 and (whilst a little quiet compared to my 200 watt head) it worked just great!

I guess I could just hook up another speaker in series with my existing 4" speaker I have already built into the cigar box. I need to experiment more :p

Thanks for the replies!

if you look at beavis audio research their is a bridged version  ( uses two 386 ) so its a bit louder and would drive more speakers. Also if you get the n4 version of the ic you can use more voltage and it gets louder. dont know if that helps. they are kinda perfect imho at the volume they get with just one ic though.
I wonder what happens if I .......
