Hi all,

I'm really tempted to put together this great circuit, but here's the catch;

I have an empty Crybaby shell sitting on my bench. It sits there, day after day, longing for a circuit. I was thinking today, "Wouldn't be great to build an Oberheim VCF, with all the mods, into it.". I figure that just having the bypass switch underfoot would be fine. The S/H - Filter, and Up/Down switches can be on the side, as toggle switches. I've seen a few videos of builds, and I can't see myself going to them on the fly.

But... which pot would be best to control with the pedal. If you have one of these babies, try to imagine which pot you would like to control on the fly, and let me know.

Cheers,
Dino

In terms of the control that might have the most direct effect on the sound right now, independent of your picking, it would likely have to be the clock rate on the S/H portion.  That's about as close to "modulation speed" as you can get on that particular design.

I would think the filter cutoff would be something to try.
