I used the vero layout that can be found in the schematics section on the left side(in the post with 2 pics).

When the effect is engaged, it gives a really loud, distorted oscillation that has a speed and depth that changes with the pots.  also, the mod switch REALLY changes the sound, but i dunno how to describe it.  in one setting it is pretty mild and you can hear a little guitar thru it, the other setting its super loud and really distorted.

anywhoo, here are my voltages:

im retarded.  same problem i have had with the last 2 builds of mine.  i think i will remember it from now on.  i didn't ground the pcb to one of the jacks.  ran a ground from the pcb to a jack, and now it sounds great!  no tick issue either!  it has a lot of fuzz/feedback, but there are no transistors so i assume thats because it is not buffered or anything.  couple it with a noise supressor and i think it will be all good.

just wanna +1 this layout again.  I had to reverse the wires on the depth knob, as per this layout they had it backwards, but other than that i am lovin' this chorus.  I wanna build the PCB version of this next, as this perf layout is HUUUUGE.

and i bought a pack of 10 mn3007's off of ebay hoping they wern't fakes or whatever, and i am assuming from this that they are legit.

Just a thought - maybe the 3007s were fake and are the reason for the distortion and feedback? Either that, or something wrong with your wiring somewhere - buffered bypass has nothing to do with it.

i need to try and record the sound it makes.  i get it from alot of pedals i have built, like my orange squeezer on the madbean board.

Sounds like a bad power supply, then. Get a regulated PSU - cheapest way is to get a 12V unregulated and add a 7809+caps after it.
