Even though I've played guitar for over 35-yrs, I haven't played in a band in 30-yrs. As such, I really haven't kept up with all of the different pedals that are out there. After some research, I decided to build a clone of a Landgraff Dynamic Overdrive, which I believe is a modified Tube Screamer. I found a Vero layout in the Layout Gallery called the "Dynamic Overhype" and decided to build it. (http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/album26/dynamic_overhype.gif.html). The build went well, although agonizingly slow due to my wife wanting the kitchen remodeled (arghh!!!).

Anyway it is finally done and sounds great!  The layout has a toggle switch that selects between two types of diode clippers. I left one set of clippers in place and replaced the second set with a 6 position rotary switch. I used 6 different sets of diode clippers on the rotary switch to give me a lot of clipping options.

Here is the Vero layout (stock without my rotary switch mod):

Here is a photo of my fancy J-box enclosure (sorry no swirly paint).

I'll try to get some sound clips as soon as my wife unchains me from the remodeling work  :'(
