the biggest thing that a lot of people miss with the orange squeezer is the face that its more of a automatic level control than compressor. I think if you tried another automatic level control on your guitar you would get a similar effect not identical but similar. What your all enjoying is automic gain control or otherwise known as automatic level control. Nothing more nothing less
