Would somebody be so kind as to help me and tell what is the transistors' specifications, especially tha gain Hfe in the Meathead Dark? And some writings says that it has 47nf and 100nF according to simple Meathead's 10nF and 22nF, but I see some on pictures 470nF capacitor in authentic Dark. What is the ok?

the (weird) B is the Hfe? I see a schematic it says 2N3904 B=100-300/10mA and BC182L B=125-500/2mA, is it ok? It's a really wide interval, hm?

thanx, all the best!

Hi,
speaking about capacitors they should be 47nF and 100nF instead of 10nF and 22nF as you wrote.
about the transistors I've found somewhere they're BC182L and BC239C for the dark version (BC182L and 2N3904 in the standard)
someone says you can get some interesting crazy octave fuzz tones using a 2N5306 in place of the 2N3904, others used two 2N3904...
my advice is to socket the transistors and experiment with a bunch of them
and for the hfe I didn't care at all in mine, I'm pretty happy with it, maybe just luck....
cheers
