I recently bought some custom made PCB´s from a factory and when i got them it turs out that they are 1,2mm to smal on the width and 0,8mm to smal on the hight, i had allready of course sent him a PCB layout that is exactly as i wanna have it and the factory claims that they are not done anything wrong and its all as i should be.. and IF there is a +/- thats normal (in my case 1.2mm and 0,8mm), this factory transfer the layout with OH paper and uses a UV lightbox.. i have done this many many times and i have never gotten a visible +/- failure..  what should i do.. ? i have gotten PCB`s i cant use cus they are to smal and the company say that there is nothing wrong... :S

A 1.2mm difference is not acceptable at all. Did you send an actual pcb for them to copy or did you send Gerber files, either way they should have been able to get the dimensions correct. Is it just the outside board dimensions that are incorrect or has the whole board been scaled so components no longer fit correctly ?

It sounds like a name and shame to me. Tell us who they were so we can avoid that company.

I can not tell u yet what company this is cus i am still talking about a solution.. if i will not get my money back and/or new PCB´s i will tell ya all what samn company this is. All the PCB´s i have etched by my self look better than this and with no visible +/- tolerance, i am not happy with this.. i contacted them cus i didnt have time to etch my self.. but with this result.....yes hell i would have done it my self cus its not only that its way smaler than the layout i sent them but it looks like a newbie have etched the damn thing..

One of the PCB´s o got look like this

And another looks like this

That looks awful.
(Not yours, theirs).

That is an absolute disgrace, on that result i would never deal with them again, there not even drilled.  Your own PCB's are far superior to that.

I am just not happy with the fact that the company claims that there is nothing wrong with the PCB´s i bought from them.. what i got from them looks like shit.. a 10 year old could do it better than that.. :S  i feel angry.
