Orientation of input /output jacks on a Boss DS1

Just recently did a mod on my DS1 on the recommendation of a web site i read.  http://www.erikhansen.net/pedalmods.php.  Replaced two resistors and a diode for new values. Anyway everything is working fine but i don't know if i put the two jacks back in the original way, meaning the wires soldered to them are on the hidden side as you reinstall them as opposed to being visible coming straight up out of the jacks like you would see if you just opened the pedal. I don't know, everything sounds great and all so maybe it doesn't matter
