Hello,

I ve got one quetstion regarding this: http://www.tonepad.com/getFileInfo.asp?id=77

In chematics, there is gray part called mom. and its momentary normally open footswtich that if pressed will bypass effect. This part is not in layout. I cant find normally open footswitch in my european country so can i just ommit the part and do it same as layout? (Like the gray area wouldnt be there).

I have other question regarding this: http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf/ggg_eq6b_lo3_wiring.pdf?phpMyAdmin=78482479fd7e7fc3768044a841b3e85a

There is cap. 0.39uF, can it be replaced by 0.18uF in series?

Thanks!

I still don't understand why it says "momentary".  I had one of those back in '78-80, and there was nothing momentary about the switch.  It latched with as loud a click as my other pedals.  Moreover, there doesn't seem to be anything in the schematic - like a flip-flop of some kind -  to suggest a lasting action of a momentary switch-closure, and the ability to reverse states.

Am I missing something folks?

There is a bypass switch and a momentary switch that allows the signal to get through no matter how low the level goes.  The bypass switch is at the input and output jack.  The momentary switch prevents the signal from being gated off as long as it is pressed.  It would be used to allow the final note to trail off smoothly into nothingness rather than shut off abruptly once it got below a certain level.

Regarding capacitors, I meant to put 0,18 uf in pararell to get 0,39 uf does that 0,03 matters? i guess not, but i want to make sure...

Thanks!
